Tiina Tamm
COUNSELLOR
What I Offer
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Counselling offers a space to explore emotional stress, painful experiences, or longstanding patterns that may be shaping your life.
Through compassionate and thoughtful exploration, I can help you make sense of your story. As new insights emerge, more satisfying and authentic ways of relating to yourself and others can begin to take shape.
I work with adults—both individuals and couples—and offer weekly sessions, either open-ended or time-limited, depending on your needs.
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals and couples with:
• The emotional impact of serious illness, medical trauma, or bereavement
• Burnout and compassion fatigue among healthcare professionals
• Questions of cultural identity, migration, and belonging

My Approach
I hold a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and change.
We’ll talk, reflect, and explore what matters to you. Sometimes, familiar patterns may emerge in the therapy relationship itself. When this happens, I may gently bring them into awareness. This can offer deeper insight and open up new possibilities for change.

About Me
Alongside my counselling work, I have worked in healthcare for many years. This background gives me the appreciation of the emotional demands of caregiving, as well as the complex feelings that often accompany illness, mortality, and loss.
Having moved from Estonia to the UK over two decades ago, I also bring personal insight into the challenges of cultural transition, identity, and finding a sense of belonging in a new environment.
I’m committed to ongoing professional development and to offering therapy that is ethical, inclusive, and responsive to your unique experience.
