BACP

What I specialise in

Trauma

I work with people affected by trauma, abuse and difficult life experiences, including neurodivergent clients.

Eating disorders

I support people with eating disorders and body image difficulties in a safe, non-judgmental space.

Neurodiversity (ASD/ADHD)

I have particular experience working with ASD and other neurodiverse conditions.

About me

I am a counsellor and registered member of the BACP, and am currently studying for my MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy at Metanoia. I work with individuals aged 18 and over, including trainee counsellors on the diploma programme.

Experience

As well as my private counselling practice in Wokingham, for the past six years I have volunteered as a counsellor for a local mental health charity, supporting adults and young people in our community with a wide range of difficulties including eating disorders, domestic abuse, child abuse, depression, anxiety, bullying, borderline personality disorder and other trauma-related issues. I have particular experience of working with ASD and other neurodiverse conditions.

What I offer

I offer weekly therapy sessions of 50 minutes in a quiet, confidential setting, where we can explore your concerns. Talking about your feelings and life experiences can be difficult and painful. I believe the relationship is the therapy, so I will work hard to create a relationship built on empathy, trust and honesty, to enable you to explore your difficulties safely and at your pace.

I can offer both open-ended and time-limited sessions, and this can be agreed at your first session. Alongside in-person counselling in Wokingham, I also offer online therapy and telephone counselling across Berkshire and beyond.

Fees

My fee is £55 per session. Discounts are available — please ask for details.
